Delivery:
Costs: No minimum order £9.50 delivery charge, order over £50 for free UK wide delivery
Free delivery within a 5 mile radius of our shop SO31 6DX with no minimum order.
Delivery statement:
Our packages are dispatched next working day, orders placed between Friday and Sunday will be dispatched the following Tuesday. We use a courier delivery service who will aim to deliver your package within 1-2 days. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, highlands, islands and parts of Scotland the delivery service can take up to 3 working days. Don’t worry, for our customers who are further away we will pack your parcel with extra ice packs to ensure the meat remains cool for up to 72 hours.
Packaging:
We have invested a vast amount time and gone to great lengths to ensure the packaging we use fits with our companies beliefs. We are delighted to share that your meat parcel will be delivered to you using the most sustainable packing available on the market.
Box:
Encased in a cardboard box made from recycled card which can be recycled again and sealed using biodegradable paper based tape which means you do not need to remove the tape before recycling. We do not in stamp our boxes to further reduce the environmental impact.
Chilling:
Rather than relying on heavily pollutant refrigerated vans we choose to rather cool the individual packages using simple ice packs. The ice packs can be kept and re-used or drained and the packaging recycled.
Insulation:
Almost as exciting as the meats we offer our insulation is made from 100% felted sheep’s wool which is washed in a natural process, scoured then sealed within recyclable industry grade micro-perforated polyethylene wrap. The wool insulation has more than 1 use, for example some of customers have used the wool to hang on trees in their garden to allow birds to create their nests. Alternatively, if you order repeatedly with us you can store the wool and return it to us using our boxes.
